A meditative experience

sound healing

Sound meditation is a relaxing, heart and mind-opening type of meditative experience that leaves you feeling wonderful.

The use of sound in meditation is a unique way to relax and release the chatter in one’s mind and enjoy the space between thoughts. It can help remove blockages and realign the energies in your body. It doesn’t require any experience or special ability. Anyone can enjoy it!

Students will experience breath work (pranayama), gongs, chimes, singing bowls, and other instruments that allow them to relax, quiet the “monkey mind,” relieve stress, and achieve a meditative state through sound vibration.

Ideal for beginners as well as experienced yoga practitioners looking for a slower, more mindful movement experience, this mixed-level class offers an intuitive, relaxed approach to yoga. Sequencing focuses on breath, gentle flowing movements, and longer held supported poses. Students will leave class feeling calm, clear, and at peace.

Do you want to get back in shape and lose weight? This high-intensity circuit class is a total body workout that combines cardio and resistance training with light weights. Students are led through lower and upper body moves as well as high- and low-intensity exercises. It will help you boost your metabolism, burn calories, and increase your strength and cardiovascular endurance.

A journey through sound healing

floating gong meditation workshop

Come experience the feeling of being cocooned in our aerial silks. Josh will lead you on a journey through sound using his powerful gong and singing bowls while you relax in lightness in a one-hour floating savasana. Relax into the sound and be bathed by the vibrations on a cellular level. This practice reduces stress, stimulates the glandular system, and breaks up emotional, physical, and spiritual blockages.

radical self-care through yoga

restorative yoga workshop

We all live very busy lives, and it’s important to balance our movement with stillness. Restorative Yoga is radical self-care. In this monthly workshop, we will give ourselves permission to stop all the doing and fully relax into the being. Each supported pose will be held for 20 minutes. This healing practice relaxes the whole body, stills the busy mind, releases muscular tension, improves mobility, calms and balances the nervous system, and encourages compassion and understanding for self and others. Bring an eye pillow and all the soft yoga props that you have, and get ready to experience bliss.

Yin Yoga focuses on stretching the fascia and connective tissue and compressing the joints to achieve greater flexibility, increased circulation, joint health, and peace. Poses are held for 3-5 minutes while the body is supported by bolsters, blankets, and blocks.

If you are looking to lose weight, tone your muscles, and improve strength and endurance, this upbeat and invigorating class is for you! Students use light weights and your own body weight as resistance while increasing your heart rate and boosting your metabolism. No experience is necessary, and all fitness levels are welcome!

Poses are held for 3-5 minutes while the body is supported by bolsters, blankets, and blocks. Includes an additional 30 minute meditation to complete the class.

Featuring Heather Jefferson + Josh Howell

This meditative class begins with centering, pranayama, and intention setting. Heather then leads students through relaxing yin postures, held for 3-5 minutes with the support of yoga props, while Josh plays chimes, singing bowls, and other sound healing instruments to facilitate deep relaxation and relieve stress. The class ends with a 30-minute Sound Bath savasana.
