THE schedule

Each day is designed to help our campers explore authentic wellness in a small group setting. *

Mindful Monday: what does it mean to be Mindful? Learn how meditation can help relieve stress, anxiety, and sleep issues and quiet the mind. Enjoy a beginner pearl yoga flow class with a chocolate meditation experience. Then, complete the day with tea and a mindful craft.

 

Twisted Tuesday: set yourself free with aerial yoga and see how fun movement can be! Enjoy an aerial yoga class for beginners, followed by a floating meditation. Complete the day with a sharing circle and activities on how to set feelings free and return to your authentic self.

Wellness Wednesday: awaken your inner ballerina with a barre or dance class designed specifically for our self-care campers, then learn the basics of a healthy glow with our signature best face forward workshop for teens! A full-sized skincare starter kit to take home is available for an additional fee.

 

Thoughtful Thursday: learn how compassion for yourself and others is the foundation of unconditional love. Experience deep compassion for the self with a restorative yoga class, then find beauty in nature with an activity centered on mindfulness.

 

Fun Friday: see just how fun self-care can be! Get your groove on with a fun-fit Friday class followed by a private session in the healing waters. End the day and week with a make-your-own smoothie bar!

FAQ's

answers to the most frequent questions

 

​What age is THE self-care summer camp for?

  • our summer camp sessions are for ages 11-15. Children younger than 11 will not be permitted.

What are the camp days and hours?

  • each session begins on Monday and runs through Friday of the same week. Camp time begins promptly at 1:00 pm and ends at 4:00 pm each day.

Do you offer extended hours, before or after care?

  • THE pearl does not offer extended hours and we kindly request that you arrive on time for both drop-off and pick-up. Late pick-up fee's will apply.

What should my camper wear?

  • self-care campers should wear comfortable clothing appropriate for yoga and other movement classes. Sneakers should be worn on all 5 camp days.  All campers should bring a swimsuit and pool sandals on Friday.

What else should my camper bring?

  • each camper should bring a re-fillable water bottle each day, and a light snack Monday - Thursday. In addition, campers may want to bring sunscreen as we may enjoy time outdoors if appropriate.

Isn't THE healing waters reserved for ages 18 and older?

  •  Under normal circumstances, yes. However, campers will be able to enjoy a completely private healing waters experience on Friday (certified lifeguards will be on-duty at all times), as a one-time exception to our normal standards. THE pearl offers private af ter-hours healing waters rentals for ages 12 and up all year long. Visit our events page for more information.

  • camp sessions do not vary in format from week to week. 

$295 per camper

add a self-care kit for $50: includes a full-size skincare set (cleanser, toner, serum, and hydrator), a ghu sha tool, and a face mask. A $195 value!
