sweet surrender: a weekend retreat


What if the tree held on to every leaf? What if the flower refused to return to the earth? What if the clouds held on to every raindrop? Surrendering to our surroundings is as natural as life itself, yet so often we can't seem to let go of all that weighs us down. 


If you want to experience the sweet gifts that surrendering holds, this weekend retreat is for you. During this 2 1/2 day retreat, you will be using the gifts of vulnerability, community, forgiveness, and love to release whatever may be holding you back. Daily yoga, forest bathing, heart-centered activities, and sacred sharing circles will aid you in making space for all that is waiting to be let into your life: once you're willing to surrender. 


The sweet surrender retreat will be held at the Manidokan Camp and Retreat Center in Harpers Ferry. The comfortable yet simplistic environment is perfect for keeping participants focused on the necessary work of letting go.

price includes accommodations, 3 meals on Saturday, 2 meals on Sunday, activity materials and supplies

10:45 am -12:00 pm        group sharing activity

12:15 pm - 1:00 pm         lunch

 1:00 pm -  4:00 pm         forest bathing + meditative hike

 4:00- pm - 5:30 pm         quiet reflection     

 5:30 pm -  7:00 pm         dinner + art therapy

accommodation information

all participants will be staying in one of two lodges. bedrooms sleep 2 - 4 people and include a private bathroom.

each participant should bring the following:

towels and personal hygiene supplies

twin-size sheets, pillows, and blankets or sleeping bag 

rain gear and/or umbrella

shoes appropriate for outdoors

water bottle

yoga mat, yoga bolster, yoga blocks, and yoga blankets

payment + cancelation

the full payment of $425.00 is due in full at the time of registration.

cancelations 30 days in advance receive a 100% refund.

cancelations less than 15 days receive a 50% refund.

there will be no refunds for cancelations less than 10 days in advance.
